How it works

Pluie P100 Plus houses a patented UV-C light system (placed behind a protection panel) that turns on when not in use to sanitize the changing space. UV-C light is known to kill 99.9% of germs, bacteria, and viruses including E. Coli, Influenza and Coronavirus through a photochemical reaction that damages their DNA. It is the same UV-C light technology that is widely used today in hospitals to sterilize patient room surfaces.

The sanitization cycle is only 60 seconds.

An LED indicator light will project underneath the table when the sanitization cycle begins and will turn off when the sanitization cycle ends.

Yes, 120V is required. We do offer a non-UV light changing table which does not require electricity.

Both Pluie Diaper Changing Tables have been tested by a global third-party testing and certification company to ensure they meet performance and safety specifications for children’s products and UV-C light products. Pluie meets ASTM, CPSIA, FCC, UL 1431 requirements and is ADA compliant. The photobiological exposure test concluded that Pluie exerts zero light to consumers and microbial efficacy testing was conducted by a third party.
