In 2016, the U.S. Congress passed the Bathroom Accessible in Every Situation Act (BABIES Act), which requires baby changing accommodations in both male and female restrooms located in publicly-accessible federal buildings. All states are under the Federal Legislation (BABIES Act). This ensures that all federal buildings are family-friendly for all caregivers.
