The idea for Pluie stemmed from a difficult diaper changing experience when Founder, Addie Gundry, was out in public with her 10-month-old son in 2018. “I was out to lunch, and he had the dreaded diaper blowout,”says Gundry. “The men’s restroom didn’t have a changing station, and the one in the women’s restroom was dirty. I wanted something different and better for my baby, so I decided to make one!”
Addie joined forces with Co-Founder, Brittany Hizer, in 2020. Together, these two moms launched Pluie with the mission to #changethetable and provide a cleaner, more comfortable and convenient diaper changing experience for all babies, parents, and caregivers on-the-go.
Fast forward to 2023, Pluie Diaper Changing Tables can now be found in the public restrooms of restaurants, theme parks, airports, stadiums, and other public spaces across 20 states nationwide. This year, Pluie also launched the Pluie Pret Changing Mat, as a portable diaper changing solution for parents who don’t have access to a suitable changing table when on-the-go.

“1 in 3 U.S families need diapers. For every Pluie sold we will donate diapers to those in need. Every baby deserves a clean place to be changed and a clean bottom.”
We are on a mission to #changethetable.
All babies deserve a comfortable and hygienic experience when being changed in a public setting. Let’s start this meaningful conversation, and together we can change the way we change our babies.
