The world’s first and only self-sanitizing diaper changing table for public restrooms is now installed at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco, Chelsea Market in New York City, Ballston Exchange in Arlington, and Ponce City Market in Atlanta.

Pluie®  is the world’s first and only self-sanitizing diaper changing table for public restrooms, powered by a patented UV-C light system known to kill 99.9% of germs including influenza, e. Coli, and coronavirus. The UV-C light system activates when the table is closed, sanitizing the changing surface in just 60 seconds after each use.

Pluie’s award-winning, breakthrough design also features a safety strap that retracts back into the clean-zone when not in-use, convenient multipurpose handles for hanging diaper bags and purses to keep them off the floor, and a comfortable foam cushioned surface that creates a softer space for baby bottoms.

Global real estate firm Jamestown added Pluie’s innovative changing tables to properties across its portfolio to improve the guest experience – making a healthier, more comfortable, and more convenient environment for young families. At Chelsea Market, Jamestown introduced Pluie as part of its management of the building’s food hall and retail on behalf of Google, which owns the property.

“Our aim is to create places that are fundamentally inclusive and promote health and wellness,” said Carrie Denning Jackson, Director of Innovation at Jamestown. “By introducing innovations like Pluie’s self-sanitizing diaper changing tables to our properties, we can foster healthier environments that better serve the needs of families.”

“All parents and caregivers taking their children out in public are looking for clean, convenient ways to care for them,” says Pluie founder and CEO Addie Gundry. “Family-friendly facilities are more concerned than ever with the health, safety, and comfort of their visitors, and we are thrilled to be partnering with Jamestown to elevate their guest experience at these premier destinations from coast to coast.”

Pluie is committed to Changing the Table™ by making sure all parents and caregivers on the go have a clean, comfortable, and convenient option in every public restroom. “We’ve all become accustomed to seeing premium touchless hand dryers and self-flush toilets in public restrooms, but when it comes to the diaper changing tables, it’s clearly been an afterthought,” says Gundry, who was inspired to found Pluie after a public parenting nightmare. “I was out to lunch with my 10-month-old son, and he had a diaper blowout in the middle of the restaurant. The changing table in the women’s restroom was dirty and left a lot to be desired, and the men’s room didn’t even have one. I said to my husband, ‘I think we can design a better one’.”
